There are many newspapers both foreign and local available in Cyprus. Turkish press monitors political situation in Turkey and the TRNC (Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus). You will find variety of Turkish newspapers in North Cyprus, while dozen of Greek-language newspapers in South Cyprus. They can be commonly bought at almost every grocery, and super market. All newspapers that are printed locally in the TRNC are available on the day they were printed while mainland Turkish papers are a day old. Papers coming from other countries can be more then a day old too. English language newspapers are available both in North and South Cyprus and aimed primarily at UK expatriates and tourists. They are released on daily or weekly basis. In South Cyprus you will be able to find some German and French newspapers too.
